Imran is a Chartered Professional Mechanical Engineer with 20 years of hand-on experience in all
aspects of Pipeline Engineering that includes design, engineering support, operations & maintenance, commissioning, handovers and decommissioning.
Currently working as Integrity and Corrosion Group Leader in Northern Area Pipelines Department.
Also, led and facilitate Pipelines Risk Assessments, Design Life Reviews, Direct and Indirect Examinations Inspections, Defect Assessments, Incident Investigations, Integrity Reviews, Inline Inspections (ILI) and also engaged in various HAZOPS, HAZIDs, Constructability Reviews, Hydrostatic Testing, Corrosion Protection Surveys, etc.
He has carried out, performed check & review various Pipeline Engineering calculations such as Road and Railway Crossing, Wall Thickness, Resistance to Penetration, Critical Defect Length, Buoyancy, Fitness for Service, Fracture Toughness, Hot Tapping, etc. calculations throughout his professional career
